Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
- ⅓ cup Nutella (slightly warmed)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts) (optional)
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Pan: Line a baking sheet or a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease removal of the frozen bark.
- Mix Yogurt: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup if you prefer added sweetness. Stir well and then spread this mixture evenly over the parchment-lined pan to form the base layer.
- Add Bananas and Nutella: Evenly place the thinly sliced bananas across the yogurt base. Next, drizzle the slightly warmed Nutella in thin ribbons over the top and use a toothpick to gently swirl it into the yogurt for a marbled effect.
- Top and Decorate: Optionally sprinkle chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips evenly over the bark for added texture and flavor.
- Freeze: Place the pan in the freezer and freeze for at least 3 to 4 hours or until completely set. Once frozen, break the bark into rough pieces, serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
- You can use either plain or vanilla Greek yogurt depending on your flavor preference.
- Honey or maple syrup is optional; skip if you prefer less sweetness.
- Warming Nutella slightly makes it easier to drizzle and swirl.
- Choose your favorite nuts or omit them for a nut-free version.
- Store leftover bark in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week.
- For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with plant-based yogurt and use a dairy-free chocolate spread instead of Nutella.
